353. Please, Please We Need a Break

Just when you thought we could clear a hurdle, another hurdle is set up in our path. Read all about the Senate's passing of the budget bill SHORT-TERM! You heard me right and if you are done reading the article than you too will see clearly that our representatives in government once again put their vacation time above our interests! BOTH parties need to be skinned! This is deplorable. The net of this bill is to allow them to go home and give them until February 2012 to wrestle some more. In the mean time, We the People will lose money from our already deficient Social Security trust fun (the payroll tax cut). I find it funny that they tell us that the tax cut is PAID FOR. Let's examine this: first, the funds not going into SS are LOST FOREVER. Second, to "cover" the cost of giving money to those who are working (cut in what they would have paid to Social Security), those trying to get a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loan will be charged higher fees. So, they will rob the people who want to refinance under the "great" housing give-away programs to give to those living well already! UNBELIEVABLE! Now they are robbing the seniors AND the less fortunates they promised to help. You know my position: This should never have been passed AT ALL! As far as the doctor fee cuts. Fine that gets delayed, but for only TWO MONTHS! And the oil pipeline: just table it and start the debate all over again! Meanwhile we LOSE more jobs and become MORE DEPENDENT on oversea oil. People, this administration and Congress are killing America! This is UNACCEPTABLE!
