The body on the Roof is a gentle cozy mystery set in a small
town with a cast of interesting residents some of whom are not as they appear
to their neighbors. There are multiple crimes and multiple villains with some
misdirection to keep the plot interesting throughout.
The cast of characters at the beginning was helpful. Small
town mysteries usually include a host of residents with names to remember.
Being able to check back to the list at the beginning of the book to reference
their roles was appreciated.
This book is entertaining and enjoyable. Reading it is a
pleasant way to spent a few hours.
