Today Master and wife came back from the park with a brighter aura than ever. They said they were at a Tea Party and said the American Patriot shirts they wore were representative of the party theme. Master also said that today, 37 years after he was released from the Navy in 1972, was the very first time ever he was personally thanked for his service in the Viet Nam war -- many individuals came by and shook the hands of the patriots who help preserve our freedom to date. A special attribute to all the war veterans from years past was part of the festivities that focused on getting our country back and preserving our freedoms and values. This was a most memorable day. A rough estimate of 400-500 (at one time) were engaged civilly partaking the activities while four mindless protesters carried their signs -- they looked like mindless robots. Master said he could imagine, if they had brains, how embarrassed they must have been to do that while the crowd sang America the Beautiful and other patriotic songs while they wove their way through the crowd. The leaders of the Tea Party were amazing, instructing the crowd not to hate them but to embrace them for it is because of America and its freedoms that they can do this.
I know I'm going to get extra hugs and maybe a fresh bone tonight. Maybe you too should get to a Tea Party and grab some of that aura. God Bless Y'all.
