Finally found a way to stop the annoying Malwarebytes popups that want you to move on to Premium license. Do the following:
1. Bring up File Explorer
2. Start with C: and ensure your View shows hidden files
3. Traverse to Progamdata > Malwarebytes > MBAMService
4. Now locate Instlrupdate folder and delete it
5. That's all folks
