really was a crime, there were many possibilities for the identity of the
killer and the reason for the murder.
Tess, mother of the young artist,
leads the story through a twisted search, even breaking a few laws, to find the
truth and protect herself and her daughter.
Feelings and relationship
descriptions sometimes slowed the action. Overall, the story was suspenseful
and enjoyable.
